The subject of the research is the activity of youth centers and youth spaces as subjects of youth work in the territorial community. The project aim: to study the theoretical approaches of youth work, modern aspects of the creation and operation of youth centers as one of the types of institutions for youth in the formation of a positively directed, active social personality of a young peoples. The research results. The paper analyzes the regulatory framework for the creation and operation of youth centers, identifies promising directions of activity of youth centers and the main stages of creation and organization of the activities of the youth center. The analysis of the activities of youth clubs and club associations at the place of residence, which is one of the most effective parts of the youth infrastructure at the community level. The basic components of the organization and conducting of youth camp were determined, methodical recommendations for youth event organizers were developed. A description of best practices on organizing and activating youth work in youth centers. The methodical recommendations for the specialists of the youth sphere concerning the organization of the activity of youth centers at the level of the territorial community are developed. Indicators and tools for monitoring the effectiveness of the youth center, methodology for their collection and calculations are developed. Recommendations on normative and legal support of activity of youth centers on the level of territorial communities are prepared.
