The subject of the research: formation of a system of youth work in Ukraine which based on the principles of non-formal education. The project aim: to study the theoretical aspects of youth work, the place and role of youth work in the implementation of youth policy of Ukraine, the main directions and content of youth work, which uses the opportunities of non-formal education of youth and specialists in the youth field. The research results. The work contains a detailed analysis of the main approaches to defining the content of youth work in Ukraine and the world, the content of the concepts "youth work" and "youth worker", the tasks and directions of the work of the youth worker, and the existing state of youth work in Ukraine. The work contains definition of the typology, forms and principles of organization of work with youth, as well as effective mechanisms of intersectoral and inter-sectoral interaction on organization of work with youth. Indicators of youth work efficiency have been developed: national, regional and local level. Methodical recommendations for the organization of youth work and training of specialists working with youth on the principles of informal education have been developed, information materials on the forms and principles of youth work organization at the regional level, the system of preparation of youth workers for youth work in Ukraine.
