The exclusive role in this process is also given to information technologies, as they create an environment of computer and telecommunication support for operational and strategic decisions. As a result of the research work, the development and systematization of methodologies for making management decisions at different hierarchical levels and in various spheres of economic activity was carried out. The substantiation of theoretical aspects of the application of information technologies in economics and management has been fulfilled, an analysis of the influence of information technologies on the transformational processes in the economy has been carried out. In particular, it was investigated that the process of improving the methodology for making management decisions is based on mathematical interpretation of managerial situations and computerized analytical processing of management information arrays using applied information technologies. It is determined that the development of business analytics technologies promotes the emergence of new points of economic growth, and the wide introduction and application of information technologies is one of the determinant factors of innovation development both at the level of individual enterprises and at the level of cities, regions and the state as a whole.
