The subject of research is synthesis, structure and properties of coordination compounds of cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), zinc mono- and dicarboxylates with some arylcarboxylic acids hydrazides and thiosemicarbazide. Research methods - chemical analysis. IR, electronic, luminescent spectroscopy, thermogravymetry, X-ray diffraction method. 48 new coordination compounds of cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), zinc with benzoic, phenylacetic, salicylic, isonicotinic acid hydrazides and complexes of 1,5-naphthalenedisulfonates and 2-naphthalenesulfonates with thiosemicarbazide have been synthesied. The structures of 9 complexes with benzhydrazide, phenylacethydrazide and thiosemicarbazide are stated by X-ray diffraction. The structure of another complexes was stated by IR and electronic spectroscopy. Thermal properties of compounds have been studied. The biological activity of cobalt and nickel benzhydrazide complexes was stydied. The luminescant properties of sulfosalicylates complexes with phenylacethydrazide were studied.
