The analysis of the epidemiological situation in groups with new and repeated cases of chemo-resistant tuberculosis in Kharkiv oblast for 2012-2017 has been analyzed, the most common MBT resistance profiles have been identified, as well as isolated strains that are responsible for the growth of chemo-resistant tuberculosis.The data on the effectiveness of treatment of patients with chemo-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis by various treatment regimens and combination therapy are supplemented. The pharmacoeconomic evaluation of standard treatment regimens for isoniazid-resistant tuberculosis has been carried out. It has been shown that patients with chemotherapy regimens, which include predominantly second-line drugs and received combination therapy, demonstrated better treatment performance, while the use of isoniazid at high doses in the intensive phase of chemotherapy with antimycobacterial drugs did not increase the efficacy of treatment.The recommendations for the use of long-term treatment regimens using second-line antimycobacterial drugs in patients with mono-and polyresistant lung tuberculosis patients, the use of which will increase the effectiveness of treatment and reduce the risk of increased resistance of mycobacterium tuberculosis, is scientifically substantiated.
