In the context of the globalization of a market economy, the need to increase the food security of the state leads to a change in the strategy of fishing, the need to increase gross production and expand the range of products through the use of innovative industrial technologies to ensure sustainable development of the fisheries industry for the region and the state. In this case, the evaluation of the biological productivity of fish water objects taking into account the recreational potential of ecotopes, the quality of the water environment, opportunities for the development of aquaculture, and the availability of an improved strategy for the development of the institutional environment and agricultural sector institutes in the context of sustainable development is being acquired. In the context of providing economic support for the proposed innovative biotechnologies for fisheries, it is planned to develop a strategy for the formation of an innovation-oriented fish industry cluster in the region. In the course of scientific research at the reporting stage, the influence of spatial distribution of anthropogenic pollution on the quality of fish products was studied, which is important for further planning of the selection of zones intended for the development of perspective aquaculture, and is one of the first steps to ensure profitable aquaculture activities based on the application of ecological approaches to aquaculture.
