It is proposed to use the theoretical and methodical approach to the assessment and forecasting of the business activity of business entities in Ukraine. In order to implement this approach in Ukraine a number of indicators (integral indicators) that characterize both the general state of the economy of the country and certain aspects of the business activity of business entities were identified. The branch specificity of the national business climate of Ukraine was analyzed. Methods of the competitiveness assessment of the enterprises in the tourism industry and their services, which allow to carry out a comprehensive analysis of this ability and determining the direction of its increase, were considered. Practical recommendations on the development and implementation of the relevant management decisions on the formation and strengthening of the competitive advantages of enterprises of the tourism industry on the basis of the research of their competitive environment were proposed. Features of application of the modern information technologies in management of the tourism business enterprises were considered. On the basis of this study, the main directions of increasing the tourism enterprises efficiency in the conditions of the service economy and the active use of information technologies were identified: increasing the efficiency of information hosting and retrieval, enhancing the tourist services promotion and marketing, improving the profitability of working with the clients and the level of quality of their services.
