The aim: to study the clinical and pathogenetic mechanisms of the formation and development of cerebrovascular disorders in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Methods of the research: clinical and neurological, psychodiagnostic, ultrasound duplex scanning, daily monitoring of the electrocardiogram and blood pressure, biochemical, statistical. 118 patients with cerebrovascular disorders and coronary heart disease cardiac surgical treatment and 42 persons without it were examined. In 35 patients, a dynamic clinical and neurological examination was conducted. The conducted research showed that patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy who undergo cardiac surgical treatment have changes in neurological status in the form of subjective complaints, pyramidal, vestibular and atactic, asthenic syndromes, non-severe focal symptoms, mild and moderate cognitive disorders, more progressiv development of atheromatous vascular remodeling. An increase in anti-inflammatory factors was found in a group of patients after cardiac surgical treatment. The effectiveness of cerebral protection of citicoline and ginkgo biloba drugs in patients after cardiac surgical treatment was shown.
