The purpose of the work is to consider the expediency of applying degassing during working out of C10v face layers and to develop a "Degassing project 1003 of the Lava layer of the C10 of mine "Samarskaya" PSS of "TernivskеMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK Pavlogradugol". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the performance of the work, technical documentation was analyzed for the development of 1003 lava of the C10 reservoir of mine "Samarskaya" PSS of "TernivskеMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK Pavlogradugol". Calculation of the expected methane emission within the excavation area has been performed and the expediency of using degassing for working off the C10v face faces has been substantiated. The calculation of the air consumption for ventilation of the extraction work and the excavation area, the parameters and the degassing mode of the roof by boreholes, the required gas pipeline diameters and the operation mode of the vacuum pump is performed.
