The purpose of the work is to establish the morpho-biological and physiological features and productivity of rare fruit, decorative and medicinal plants during the cultivation in the conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine; to study adaptive possibilities of new plant species of Ukrainian natural flora when introduced into culture. For our researches we used next methods: a method of field experiment, laboratory experiment and statistical methods of the experimental data processing. As a result of our researches morpho-biological, physiological features and productivity of rare fruit, decorative and medicinal plants have been studied. The adaptive and abiotic potential of the Monarda didyma, golden currant, Ailanthus altissima and Low Plum Pumiselect clone are found, allowing them to be considered as a perspective plants for further study and introduction into commodity production in the conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine.
