On the basis of the analysis of the formation of the current of the active power filter, a parameter is used which is used to determine the intensity of the charge - power. The algorithm of compensation is developed, which additionally includes adjusting the current of the power active filter by the value of the equivalent charging power in the conditions of deviation of the voltage of the capacitor from the limits of the given range. On the basis of the algorithm, taking into account the known technical solutions, the scheme of the active power filter with the subsystem of charge of the capacitor is developed. By conducting model experiments the algorithm regimes are implemented and the corresponding conclusions are made. It is noted that at the beginning of the scheme the circuit is uncontrollable, because of the counter-circuit diodes causing a current throw, which is limited to the inductance of the network circle of the active power filter.
