The object of research is the methods of extraction and processing of peat in the production of fuel and fertilizers. The purpose of the work is to reduce the negative impact of the technologies of extraction and processing of peat on the environment. Methods of research - a comprehensive method of research, which includes monitoring the state of peat in the process of their development, exploitation and rehabilitation; system analysis used in the consideration of the structure of biosphere functions of peatlands and the classification of environmental hazards of various technologies for the extraction of peat; an experiment in the selective geological survey of peatlands of different levels of development; laboratory and industrial experimental studies in modeling of drying processes and pneumatic separation of milling peat
