The aim of the work is to improve the methods of ensuring the interchangeability of manufacturing parts with deep coordinated holes in machine building and instrumentation at the design stage and developing a system of their normalized scattering fields, which will allow it to be used in production in order to provide high quality products. To achieve the goal, the following research objectives were formulated and solved: 1. To conduct an analysis of scientific literature and to assess the degree of study of methods for ensuring the interchangeability of coordinated holes in mechanical engineering and instrumentation. 2. Determine the magnitude of the influence of the total error of mechanical processing on the accuracy of the coordinated dimensions of the deep openings made on multioperational machines. 3. To conduct experimental researches of accuracy of processing of coordinated openings on small-sized machine tools and to determine the parameters of statistical analysis of mathematical models. 4. Conduct the planning of the experiment and determine the mathematical model of the dependence of the field of dispersion of the accuracy indicators of the coordinated holes from the factors influencing it. 5. Determine the law of distribution of the quality indices of the coordinated dimensions of the deep openings as a random variable and check its consistency and adequacy.
