The purpose of research is the substantiation of the practical recommendations that will increase the functioning efficiency of the Armed Forces of Ukraine distance learning system in order to provide high-quality modern educational services using information technologies. To accomplish the tasks, methods of theoretical and empirical research were used which mutually enriched and ensured the achievement of the research goal. Main results of the study: system of indicators and criteria for the efficiency evaluation of distance learning system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the technique for the efficiency evaluation of the system of distance learning system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the methodological recommendations draft for increasing the functioning efficiency of the distance learning system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The implementation of the proposed approaches will increase the functioning efficiency of the distance learning system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will ensure the provision of high-quality modern educational services using information technology.
