All of the subjects found vitamin D deficiency, as well as hyperhomocysteinemia. The marked changes were substantially expressed in patients with multifocal atherosclerosis. In the course of work in individuals with multifocal atherosclerosis median, the concentration of homocysteine ??plasma blood was significantly higher. There is a clear relationship between the level of homocysteine ??content and the prevalence of atherosclerotic lesions. These results indicate a possible destabilization of the course of atherosclerosis with hyperhomocysteinemia in combination with vitamin D deficiency.
