With the help of a complex method using chromotography, investigation of the propensity of coalbed l1 to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that in the investigated section of the mine field coal is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, recommendations were made and transferred to the mine.
