The object of study - dustiness of air in underground workings and the coal seam and the surrounding rocks; Purpose - to define an acceptable level of dust and to determine the effect of water on the stability of surrounding rocks; methods of research - analysis of mining conditions, the measurement results of dust and normative documents on levels of dust load and analysis of the geological characteristics and the results in the discharge of lava counterparts; the result of research - identification of a safe level of airborne dust pneumoconiosis and a conclusion about the negative impact on the stability of the injection water surrounding rocks and increase the danger of conducting clearing works.5481
