The subject of research is the parameters of the method of hydrodynamic impact on a steep coal seam. Research methods - on the basis of mining experimental studies on the application of the method of hydrodynamic impact on the coal seam k8 - "Kamenka" of lava No. 95-1160 m, the process of gas evolution from the treated zone after exposure to the lower part of the lava of section No. 95 and analytical calculations of indicators of hydrodynamic impact efficiency determined the dynamics of changes in the average daily concentration of methane in the outgoing air stream from the site, as well as the radius of zones of intense gas evolution. The methane concentration in the outgoing air stream from the site, daily coal production and the amount of air supplied for airing determined the degassing ratio of the coal seam sections through technological wells No. 11, No. 12, No. 13 and No. 14, the radii of intensive methane release zones and coefficients intensification of reservoir degassing. The efficiency of applying the hydrodynamic impact method for intensifying degassing and reducing the gas-dynamic activity of the coal seam areas in the zone of influence of technological wells is established. Cleaning work in the lower part of the lava of plot No. 95 was carried out without signs of gas-dynamic phenomena.
