In myocardium of experimental adult rats comparatively with control content of NO-2 grows, while NO-3 - does not change. Activity of eNOS and iNOS grows thus. For old rats, nationals of hyperglycaemia, content of NO-2 increases in myocardium at unchanging activity of eNOS and small increase of iNOS. The brought results over testify to the different mechanisms of increase of level of nitrogen oxide metabolits in adult and old rats at influence of hyperglycaemia and hyperinsulinemia. For adult rats it takes place due to activating both NO- syntasis (synthesis of NO de novo), in old - by activating of іNOS and "devastation" of physiology depots and, maybe, recreation of NO in nitrit-reduction reactions.
