The aim of the study is to increase the efficiency of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of periodontal tissues and oral mucosa in young people by developing new diagnostic criteria and treatment and preventive measures. Research methods: general clinical, radiological, biochemical, immunological and statistical methods were used in the work. New criteria have been developed for a comprehensive assessment of the state of periodontal and oral mucosa based on multivariate analysis of pathogenetic factors and clinical and laboratory parameters. The timing of the follow-up and the criteria that will allow for preventive treatment are justified, avoiding the progression of the pathological process in the tissues of the periodontium and oral mucosa.
