The background of the AMoRE II experiment with detectors based on scintillation crystals of Li2MoO4, CaMoO4, and PbMoO4 has been simulated by Monte Carlo method. It was shown that the lowest background level in the region of the expected peak of the neutrinoless DBD of 100Mo can be achieved with Li2MoO4 crystals. 2. DECAY0 event generator had been improved for simulation of DBD and background processes in experiments with 100Mo nuclei. 3. It is shown that the noise level of a bolometric detector is the main factor for identifying random pile-up of signals; 4. The sensitivity of a low-background scintillation spectrometer based on a high-volume cadmium tungstate scintillator to radioactive contamination of samples of materials and scintillators has been estimated; 5. The scintillation properties of the 3M Enhanced Specular Reflector were investigated.
