In agreement with Czech researchers, we made two Ukrainian-Czech expeditions to the forests of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve on May 19-31, 2019 and to the forests of Gorgany Nature Reserve on August 19-31, 2019. 295 lichen and lichenophilic fungi were collected and identified during research in the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve and Gorgany Nature Reserve, A list of lichen species included to the Red Data Book of Ukraine was established for each studied plots. A database containing all the necessary information on lichen and lichenicolous fungi records has been created and will be used for further analysis. Taxon identification is ongoing in the J.K. Pachesky biodiversity and environmental monitoring laboratory and Molecular Biology laboratory of Kherson State University, data are consistent with the results obtained in the laboratory of lichenology of the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
