The purpose of scientific and technical work is to modernize the digital contact thermograph by equipping it with an automated expert evaluation system of thermograms for screening examination of women in order to detect breast diseases. Research Methods - Quantitative analysis of thermomamograms using statistical and neural network methods. On the basis of the study of breast thermograms of women who were simultaneously examined by traditional methods of diagnostics (radiography, ultrasound, biopsy), quantitative indices of the surface temperature of the skin of the mammary glands were revealed and a comparative analysis was performed in normal and pathological processes. The protocols of the results of the analysis were drawn up. A series of models for predicting the risk of breast pathology have been constructed. Nonlinear neural network MLP model was found to be the best predictor of breast pathology risk prediction. The latter is implemented in a developed computer program, which is integrated into a mass-produced digital contact thermograph. Verification of the automated expert system showed that its sensitivity is 80.4%, specificity - 80.9%. The automated expert system, consisting of a modernized digital contact thermograph, facilitates the organization of a mass examination of women by reducing its cost and the ability to reach a large number of patients away from medical centers.
