The environmental, economic and organizational and management aspects of the storage of solid household waste in landfills were taken into account to ensure sustainable regional development, public safety and the rational use of natural resources. As a result, a working prototype of a software package for an information-analytical system for managing solid domestic waste landfills was developed. In addition to the restoration and improvement of the relevant reporting, methods of remote sensing of the earth (ERS), including satellite images, methods and algorithms for their automated decryption, are involved. Algorithmically and programmatically implemented the ability to automatically simulate situations and their environmental consequences. Algorithmically and programmatically implemented cartographic data visualization, including the results of analytical estimates and forecasts, with the option of saving and accumulating these cartographic models in the corresponding database segment. It was determined that the developed prototype of the software module is focused on information support, primarily of pre-project management decisions regarding the future prospects of the operation and development of the landfill network in the regions and the operation of specific landfills.
