When inoculated saffron was introduced into the culture, it was determined that the use of explants as a sterilizing agent only 95% alcohol solution is effective only at the initial stages of the formation and development of corms (April). The yield of uninfected explants after a month of cultivation was 85.2-100%. With the isolation of explants in May, at the beginning of the end of culture growth, the yield decreased to 63.8-69.2%. The optimal time for introducing saffron inoculum (Crocus sativus L.) into an in vitro culture is June, when saffron is in the ripening phase.
