The general tendency for the evolution of the properties of dark-chestnut residual weak and medium-saline soils in irrigated and irrigated conditions after many years of introduction of soil-saving tillage technology and No-till and Mini-till is to improve the ecological and agro-ameliorative state of the soil. The speed and intensity of these soil-forming processes depends first and foremost on the properties of the irrigated soils, the fertilizer system, crop rotation, irrigation regime and climatic parameters. Assessment of the suitability of agricultural lands of the Southern and Dry Steppe of Ukraine with favorable conditions for minimum and zero tillage. It is established that 39.52% of the territory of agricultural lands located in the northwestern zone of the Southern and Dry Steppe of Ukraine are favorable for the introduction of minimum and zero tillage technology by the structural composition of the soil. The territories of agricultural lands, located mainly in the central and south-eastern zones of the Southern and Dry Steppe of Ukraine, are satisfactory (16.77%) and unfavorable (43.72%) for the introduction of minimum and zero tillage technology.
