The purpose of research and development work is to sustain system of guaranteeing of higher military education quality in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine taking into account domestic and member countries of NATO experience. The system approach and general scientific methods such as qualitative description, supervision, abstraction, idealization, formalization, comparison (SWOT-analysis) were used. The report deals with: results of comparative analysis of domestic and member countries of NATO experience of guaranteeing of higher military education quality in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ministry of Defense; the model of the system of quality assurance of higher military education in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ukraine harmonized with the modern approaches of NATO member countries; methodology for evaluating the efficiency of the higher military education quality guaranteeing system in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine; proposals for amendments to the governing documents on the introduction of a system of quality assurance of higher military education in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and draft organizational and methodological recommendations for the quality guaranteeing of higher military education in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Main results: the model of quality assurance system of HME in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ukraine, adapted to the educational standards of leading NATO member countries; methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the HME quality assurance system functioning in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ukraine; draft of organizational and methodological recommendations for guaranteeing the quality of higher military education in HMEI, MEU of IHE of Ukraine.
