Objectives are to determine the fundamental principles of SOW conversion and the construction of autonomous cogeneration power plants. Methods of research are standard methods for studying SOW and new methods for developing processes in autonomous power plants. An analytical review of the results of SOW conversion and the development of the up-to-date fuel cell energy technologies was carried out. The design of the gasifier-transformer (GTR) available at CETI NASU has been improved. The GTR is integrated into the operation scheme of a solid fuel boiler (SFB) with a thermal power of up to 18 kW for burning hydrogen-rich synthesis gas and hydrogen for heating. The technical characteristics of the SFB operation on hydrogen-rich synthesis gas and hydrogen are determined. The yield of products of hydrogen combustion on air blast after water condensation was determined. The study of SOW pellet gasification was performed. The maximum thermal power of the GTR of 17.2 kW with hydrogen output of up to 470 l/kg of pellets was achieved. The characteristics of the heating system in the case of combustion of the obtained gas in the SFB are determined. A parallel-sequential circuit of operation of heat and electricity generators with the use of thermal and electric accumulators has been developed for efficient operation in maneuverable mode and an increase in the life time of the main power equipment has been developed. The generator with an internal combustion engine has been modified to operate on hydrogen-rich synthesis gas. The electric power of the syngas generator was up to 1.7 kW. The possibilities of increasing the power of the generator to 2.3 kW are estimated. A circuit for integrating the SOW gasifier into the cold production system has been developed. The autonomous cogeneration unit, developed at CETI NASU, can provide electricity and heat to a building with a total area of up to 200 m2. Product Description popup.authors Дудник О. М.
