An information system has been developed for the analysis of torsional vibrations of power transmissions. As part of its development, a hybrid method has been proposed for solving complex transcendental systems of high-dimensional equations, and formulated recommendations for computational optimization of analysis. Using the developed bunch of methods, the skeleton curves of nonlinear torsional oscillations of the power transmission of the 3TD-4 engine as a part of the electric generator have been constructed; the parametric sensitivity of the power transmission frequency to changes in its elastic parameters is analyzed. Recommendations on the avoidance of nonlinear resonance between the power transmission and higher harmonics of the electromagnetic moment on the generator rotor are formulated.
