The research methods are: analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization of the received information and its interpretation. The result of the work are: theoretical and methodological analysis of scientific research on the study of psychological issues of self-regulation of law enforcement officers; description of psychological models of self-regulation of personality, revealing, substantiation and description of the content of its structural components and psychological typologies of self-regulation of the individual; substantiation of methods of complex empirical research of professional self-regulation of the activity of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine (NMU), determination of the main groups of the subjects studied; creation of the psychological typology of the development of the system of professional self-regulation of the activity of NSU servicemen; development of psychodiagnostic method for determining the peculiarities of professional self-regulation of servicemen's activity; creation of an automated psychodiagnostic complex for the determination of the characteristics of professional self-regulation activities; development of a program for increasing the effectiveness of professional self-regulation of military personnel. The obtained results allow to carry out correlation of the features of professional self-regulation of the activity of servicemen with their effectiveness of service and combat activity in daily and extreme conditions of service.
