Therefore, there is a need to create a new biofuel with improved operational properties. The research methodology involves the comparison of the experimental values the properties of the new fuel with the known values of the relevant indicators of the standard (PME). The verification of the adequacy of the mathematical models of elements and subsystems of the "fuel-engine -vehicle" system by comparison with the results of experimental researches showed that the mathematical models satisfactorily describe the basic processes of the system and can be used to assess the feasibility of using of AMF in a wheeled vehicle (tractor), which provides a technological process. The conducted experimental researches of the Д-243 diesel engine and the МТЗ-80 wheeled tractor working on a new biofuel have confirmed the expediency of its use. The analysis of the operational properties of biodiesel fuels indicates that the new biodiesel fuel has a lower gelation temperature than the rapeseed oil methyl ester and has low toxicity and aggressiveness, which is similar to ethyl ester of rapeseed oil, but is much cheaper than it. The disadvantage of this fuel is its increased viscosity, that's why biodiesel fuel was heated before running non-motor, motor and road tests. Soot emissions are lower when working on biofuel in all modes, and with loads close to the maximum this decrease is the largest and is up to 35%. The equivalent specific fuel consumption is up to 25% higher than that of a diesel engine.
