The list of problematic indicators of water quality of underground sources of drinking water supply, drinking bottles and bottling points was revealed. It is established that factors of inappropriate quality of drinking water are imperfect technologies and contamination of surface and groundwater, including due to insufficient wastewater treatment. It is noted that monitoring water reservoirs are not systematically conducted in the country and therefore do not always reliably reflect the true picture of the danger of water. Based on the research carried out, a draft amendments to the State Sanitary Regulations and norms have been developed - DSANPiN 2.2.4-171-10 "Hygienic requirements for drinking water intended for human consumption".
