The purpose of the study is formulating methodological foundations and methodical tools for modeling and forecasting interconnection innovative development of economic entities and ensuring economic security in Ukraine. In the course of our research a set of rates of the economic entities innovative activity influence on indicators of national economic security was formed. We conducted a factor analysis of the policy of ensuring national economic security in foreign countries. The methodology was improved and algorithms for the selection of innovative drivers of the highest priority and relevance in terms of Ukrainian national economic security were developed. It was suggested to apply a selective approach to the determination of priority sectors that should be based not only on the economic and legal issues but also rely on the modern global principles of development (the concepts of economic and societal development "Industry 4.0", socially inclusive approach to the generation of economic growth and the circular economic ideas). Extended analysis revealed that to achieve national economic security in the business processes of industrial enterprises one should apply a radical transformation of the marketing processes oriented towards industrial products in the international arena as an innovative driver.
