The purpose of this work is to establishment the regularities of effect of laser treatment on the structural state of surface layers of titanium and quasicrystalline alloys; the determination of effect of laser treatment modes on formation of phase composition. XRD (DRON-3, DRON-3M), durometric (PMT-3) and optical metallographic (MIM-8, Epiquant, Axiovert 40 MAT) methods were used during executing action. It were established the regularities of effect of laser heat treatment and low temperature thermo-cycling on structural state and microhardness of surface layers in aluminum-based quasicrystalline alloys. It were investigated the structure and properties of surface layers of titanium samples after laser alloying with transition metals which were deposited on the surface by electrolysis method. It were determined optimal parameters of electrolytic deposition of metal layer on the samples surface and the parameters of laser radiation for reaching certain structural state. Obtained results can be used in the development of technologies for increasing wear resistance of parts which were made of titanium and aluminum alloys.
