Master alloy technique of filler injection into aluminum-based melt has been elaborated for production of cast billets reinforced by small amount (1 - 5 mass %) of hard alloy or silicon carbide disperse particles. Influence of production procedure and characteristics (type, dispersion and amount) of disperse particles on structure and properties of aluminum-based composite materials has been studied. It has been established that structure parameters of matrix eutectic alloy decrease with increasing of quantity and dispersion of filler. Tibological properties and corrosion resistance of the composite materials reinforced by disperse carbide particles with high elastic modulus have been investigated.
