In the present study in experiments in vitro we investigated the content of the factors of endogenous neuroprotection heat shock proteins HSP70 and hypoxia inducible factor HIF-1а, as well as influence of cytotoxic compounds on the expression and synthesis of HSP70, development of mitochondrial dysfunction: opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP), mitochondrial membrane potential. It was studied the impact of HSP70 and HIF-1 levels on the pathobiochemical processes and the intensity the process of cell death in the brain tissues of rats with acute cerebral ischemia in vitro. The obtained characteristics of the investigated compounds tiotriasoline, tamoxifen and cerebrocurine have exceeded the standard reference preparations emoxipine, mexidol, cinazepam, livial and cerebrolysin according to their action on the studied indices, and, therefore may be further be administered for the development of a new strategy in the treatment and prevention of acute disturbances of cerebral blood circulation.
