As a result, the 28 new complexes with different types of ligands coordination were obtained as an important medical objects (for the design of new pharmaceuticals with antitumor activity). The regularities of the formation of complexes were investigated and factors influencing the course of complexation reactions were determined. An analysis of the crystalline structure of a number of complexes, determined by the geometry of coordination polyhedrons, the influence of tautomeric forms of ligands on cis-, trans-position of them in the coordination unit. The influence of 13 new Pd and Pt complexes on the synthesis of RNA, DNA and the efficiency of their binding to the plasmid DNA is studied, depending on the time of incubation and the chemical structure of the molecules. Ligands are found to be one-dimensional and zero-dimensional objects in which only one parameter (thickness) is less than 100 nm, while the complexes have two nano-dimensional parameters (thickness and width).
