The oxidation reaction of cycloalkanones with hydrogen peroxide in the presense of sodion hydroxide and its peroxide derivates has been investigated; it was shown that omega-hydroperohy carboxylic asids were the main products of the reaction. The methods for the synthesis of novel monomers, initiators and chain transfer agents with the maleimide fragment have been elaborsted; new functional opyoxazolines and carbochain oligomers were synthesized with their paticipitation.
