Due to efficient exciton self-trapping in polymer-bound PIC J-aggregates, their fluorescence spectrum consists of two well-separated bands: near-resonant narrow band of free excitons and red-shifted wide band of self-trapped excitons. It has been found that the interaction with plasmon resonance of gold nanoparticles at optimal distance between nanoparticles and J-aggregates in hybrid complexes leads to the increase of free exciton fluorescence, while self-trapped exctions emission slightly decreases. Suppression of exciton self-trapping due to plasmon-induced an exciton coherence length enhancement has been supposed. The self-trapping suppression is confirmed by both exciton-phonon coupling decrease and free exciton lifetime increase. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
