The association was revealed for the minor genotypes and geterozygotes: MMP-2*TT, MMP-2*СT, a2M*Val/Val with the risk of development of COPD occupational etiology . Genotypes associated with resistance for COPD are next: MMP-2* CC, a2M*IIe/IIe і a2M*IIe/Val. There were no significant differences in the frequency of genotypes of the ELN gene in the examined miners. It was determinated 59 different combinations of alleles of the genes: MMP-2, TIMP-2, а2M, ELN. It was revealed that 4 genotypes MMP9*СС,MMP2*CC,TIMP2*G/G,a2M*IIe/IIe,ELN*Gly/Gly; MMP9*СС,MMP2*CТ,TIMP2*G/G,a2M*IIe/Val,ELN*Gly/Gly; MMP9*СС,MMP2*CС,TIMP2*G/G,a2M*IIe/Val,ELN*Ser/Se; MMP9*СТ,MMP2*CC,TIMP2*G/G,a2M*IIe/IIe,ELN*Gly/Ser are associated with resistance to COPD in underground coal miners. Genotypes MMP-9*СС,MMP-2*CC,TIMP-2*G/А,а2M*IIe/Val,ELN*Gly/Ser are associated with the risk of development to COPD in the population of coal miners in Ukraine.
