The purpose of the study is to obtain quantitative estimates and create a mathematical model of the main nutrient flows 127I/129I in typical agroecosystems of Ukraine. Research methods - sampling of soil, agricultural products (vegetables and grass, milk), surface and groundwater in different soil and climatic conditions of continental Ukraine on sod-podzolic, sandy and gray forest soils, black soil and peaty-marsh soils. Measurement of 127I content in samples. Processing of the obtained results by statistical analysis methods. As a result of research, a methodology of probabilistic prediction of the content of 127I and 129I in the components of the plant diet and milk of cows has been proposed. A model of probabilistic prediction of the 127I content in the components of the plant ration and milk of cows has been developed, which makes it possible to assess the risks that the content of 127I in milk of cows will be lower than the minimum allowable. A model of probabilistic prediction of the 129I content in the plant ration components and milk of cows without measuring 129I in soil and plants was developed, which allows estimating the content of 129I in components of vegetable ration and cow milk from 137Cs deposition density of more than 37 kBq/m2 in areas contaminated by ChNPP. The statistical characteristics of 127I content in soil, agricultural products, drinking and surface water were evaluated; the conversion factors of iodine in meadow grass and grain; the conversion rate of iodine from the daily diet into the milk of cows from different settlements of mainland Ukraine. The models of probabilistic prediction of the 127I and 129I content in the components of the plant ration and milk of cows were tested on the basis of the characteristic settlements of the second and third zones of radioactive contamination.
