The quantitative values of the structural parameters of a number of amorphous alloys on the basis of the Al87-86TM8RE5-6 system and the connections between the chemical composition, the propensity to amorphization and the formation of nanoscale structural components have been established. Three new alloys with increased amorphization ability have been developed and manufactured. In samples of Al86Ni7Co1Y5La1, Al86Ni7Co1Er5La1 and Al86Ni6Co2Gd3Y2Tb1 alloys, obtained in the form of strips with a thickness of 150 ?m, a completely amorphous structure was observed. It has been shown for the first time that adding erbium (4-5 at%) instead of yttrium leads to a significant change in the atomic structure of the amorphous phase. In the study of the processes of nanocrystallization it was proved that for all three alloys the primary crystallization is characteristic in which the allocation of fcc-Al from the amorphous matrix takes place, with the subsequent heat treatment at higher temperatures, the growth of Al nanocrystals and the formation of intermetallics, in particular, RE3Ni5Al19 for the alloy with erbium. It is shown that the formation of the nano-phase composite in the Al86Ni7Co1Er5La1 alloy leads to the maximum value of microhardness. The methods of obtaining amorphous-nanocrystalline Al86Ni7Co1RE5La1 (RE = Y, Er) alloys in the form of rods and plates in the thickness from 0.5 to 3.5 mm have been worked out. The corresponding technological regulation (laboratory) for obtaining tempered bulk samples of alloys of the Al86TM8RE6 system and their mechanical properties have been developed.
