Objective: to improve the system of prevention of violations of physical development and sexual maturity of children affected by military actions and armed conflict. Methods: clinical anamnestic, anthropometric, statistical. Results: It was found that 46.0% of boys and 37.3% of girls of school age who were affected by armed conflict in eastern Ukraine and applied for medical assistance at the Institute of child and adolescent health care of NAMS, had disharmonious physical development (DFD). It has been shown that the frequency and structure of the DFD depends on the gender and age of the child at the beginning of the antiterrorist operation (ATO). Risk groups for physical development and sexual maturation violations have been identified. In the dynamics of observation, there was a decrease in the number of adolescents with harmonic FD due to growth retardation and body mass violations. Novelty: for the first time, the most important medical and social factors that influence the formation of the DFD were determined and the necessity of updating the monitoring system for health and health-saving technologies in the conditions of educational and medical institutions of different levels was substantiated. Effectiveness: Implementation will allow the risk group to be exposed to physical development violations of children affected by armed conflict and to conduct preventive and therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.
