Based on the data obtained, a self-consistent model of propagation of the reaction of Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis in a foil with a homogeneous multilayer structure and in a foil with a functionally gradient structure, which includes a layer with a multilayer structure based on creations intermetallic elements, and layers based on fusible alloys (solder) is built. The interrelation between the characteristics of the structure of functionally gradient multilayer foils and their reactivity, which allows to determine the structure and chemical composition of the composite foil, which is able to provide the reaction soldering process, is established.
