Purpose: to improve the system of medical and psychological support of school-age children from the zone of anti-terrorist operation. Methods: clinical-anamnestic, biochemical, immuno-enzymatic, statistical. Results: increased level of emotional stress was determined in the majority of students from the ATO zone. It was found that the activation of stress-regulating systems depends on the intensity of stress. It is proved that the children of immigrants register a higher level of individual indicators of the stress-implementing system compared with students from the ATO zone. It is determined that the number of migrant children with signs of anxiety is greater than in the group of witnessed children of military operations which may indicate the formation of psychological protection in them, adaptation to new life conditions. It has been established that for this contingent, especially girls, there is an increased frequency of complaints of psychosomatic nature and polymorphism of symptoms which largely depends on the presence and intensity of stress. Novelty: for the first time, it was found that high levels of stress occur in all patients with neurotic disorders regardless of sex, the supra high level is determined in behavioral and somatic variants and anxiety-depressive symptoms. Efficiency: implementation of the developed principles of medical and psychological support of schoolchildren from the area of military action will contribute to the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases.
