Objectives - development and improvement of methodological foundations of the interaction of electric power and heating systems when using electric heat generators (EHG) as means for regulating electric loads in the PS. A prerequisite for using this technology and coordinating the interaction of different systems is an increase in the efficiency and manageability of their operation. Results and their novelty: the methodology of organization of load control processes in the PS is developed taking into account the specific features of the operation of the EHGs based on heat pumps and electric boilers; characteristic features of daily electric load schedules (DELS) in regional PSs and consumption schedules of thermal energy from DHS for different cities of Ukraine are investigated, the possibilities of their interaction in the load control processes are determined, the main characteristics of the necessary EHG equipment are determined; the methodical principles of the interaction of electric power and heating systems in load control processes using EHG of different types are developed; for the first time, the main parameters of interaction between electric power systems and EHG complexes at the DHS facilities are determined; for the first time, methodical bases of interaction of the electric power system and heating systems in load control processes were developed; the potential of new maneuverable capacities based on EHG complexes location in certain regional PSs of the UPS of Ukraine is estimated; the theoretical bases for the joint operation of the electric and heating systems with the use of EHG was developed.
