V. Ya. Yuriev popup.description2  Study object - soil, fertilizers, sunflower, hybrids, cultivation technologies. The study purpose was to provide scientific support for the agrobiological basics of yield formation and to develop adaptive technologies of sunflower cultivation for the eastern forest-steppe of Ukraine, which are based on the principles of adaptive crop production and ensure stable yields in years with various hydrothermal regimes. Results - sunflower cultivation technology in the conditions of insufficient humidification, which is characterized by selection of hybrids that are the most adapted to the conditions of a zone of insufficient humidification, with reduced use of plant protection chemicals and use of micronutrients, which ensures yields of 3.81 t/ha and increases the profitability by 15%. The model of an adaptive technology of sunflower cultivation using biologization elements with due account for agrobiological basics of yield formation, which increases yields and results in high-quality products. The yields increased by 0.1 t/ha; the net income - by 841.2 UAH/ha; the profitability - by 10%. The model of an energy-efficient sunflower cultivation technology, which is characterized by selection of hybrids that are the most adapted to the conditions of a zone. It ensures fulfillment of genetic potentials of hybrids, yield stability and high quality indicators and increases the payback from fertilizers by 10-15% and the production profitability by 12-15%.
