Scintillation materials with radiation hardness up to 5 Mrad and decay time up to 20 ns as well as reflecting light materials have been selected for manufacture of modules. The most suitable characteristics have scintillation polystyrene with activator of 3-hydroxyflavone, modified by two fluorine atoms, as well as single crystal and composite scintillators of YAGG:Ce garnets. It was determined that light reflector based on optically transparent polysiloxane elastomer with 20 wt. % of titanium dioxide has the most suitable optical, mechanical characteristics and easy manufacturing technology. Optimal methods for synthesis of fluoride derivatives 3HF, for production creation of scintillation polystyrene with increased radiation hardness were searched, selected and carried out. Temperature testing of scintillation and reflecting materials of the module at temperatures -300С and + 600С (standard scintillation polystyrene and reflector based on polysiloxane with addition of 20 % TiO2 has been carried out. It has been determined that for reflector based on polysiloxane with 20% TiO2, the reflection coefficient at wavelength of luminescence of polystyrene scintillator does not change by more than 3% at -300С. It has been determined that relative light output of standard polystyrene scintillator is reduced by no more than 3% and 7% at + 600 C and -300 C, respectively.  Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
