 The effect of rotor speed of rotor-pulsating apparatus (disperser-mixer) on the kinetics of oxygen absorption in water was determined. Comparison of the conditions of aeration, the speed of the mass transfer of oxygen and the efficiency of aeration in the setup with disperser-mixer and some pneumatic and mechanical aerators are made. The research was carried out on the use of various modifications of aeration - oxidation setup of rotor type (AORT) for aeration of sewage during their biological purification. The values ​​of the parameters characterizing the state of active sludge, depending on the intensity of processing in the AORT, are determined. The industrial aeration and oxidation plant of rotor type with the productivity of 20-40 m3 / h for purification of water from iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide is made.
