Kundiev of National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 Object of research: nanoparticles, concentration dynamics, diffraction distribution, cytotoxicity, morphological changes in the liver, lungs. The purpose of the research is to determine the peculiarities of the biological impact of nanosized fractions of industrial aerosols from the aspect of their safety for workers. Research methods: hygienic, chemical, toxicological, histological, electronic-microscopic, statistical. The research revealed that the peculiarities of the biological action of nanosized fractions of industrial aerosols are its multifactorial dependence on the dimensional-quantitative particle ratio, the diversity of chemical elements in the nanosized state in the air of the working zone, and the specifics of the production processes. Welding with experimental electrodes and prosthetic procedures in dentistry are accompanied by a significant emission of nanosized particles (5-100 nm) into the air of the working zone. In this case, the concentration of chromium, zinc, calcium in welding operations and chromium, arsenic, silicon in the air of the dental clinic exceed the estimated approximately safe exposure levels for nanomaterials. The toxicity of the solid component of the welding electrode aerosols increases in the presence of hexavalent chromium and nickel. Deletion the chromium from the formula of the welding electrode has been accompanied by increased migration of the overall amount of nanosized elements during welding, particularly at the beginning of the process. Intranasal administration of nanosized fractions of welding aerosols to rats has been found by histological and electron microscopy studies the following results. In the liver, dystrophic changes in hepatocytes, vascular endothelium cells and hyperplasia of stellate macrophages, which are mainly diffuse in nature, are observed against the backdrop of moderate enlargement and enlargement of the lumen of the central veins and sinusoid capillaries.   Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
